1. Welcome to the House of Bets
These terms govern your use of House of Bets ("the Platform"), a decentralized prediction market for entertainment purposes. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. This is a meme project, a game. Don't bet more than you're willing to lose. Seriously. This is not financial advice. LFG.
2. The Game
House of Bets allows you to trade "shares" in the outcomes of real-world events. The value of these shares fluctuates based on market sentiment. If you predict correctly, your shares pay out. If you're wrong, they become worthless. It's a high-stakes game of knowledge and foresight. All trades are final.
3. Eligibility and Risk
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to participate. You acknowledge that participation involves significant risk. The value of shares can go to zero. The crypto markets are volatile. You accept all risks associated with using the platform, including but not to, smart contract vulnerabilities and market volatility. We are not liable for any losses.
4. No Guarantees (Code is NOT Law)
This is software. Bugs happen. While we strive for perfection, we make no warranties or guarantees about the platform's performance, reliability, or the accuracy of market resolution. The resolution sources are final. Disputes will be settled by the almighty DAO, once it exists. Until then, our team's decision is final.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Don't try to cheat, hack, or manipulate the market. Don't use the platform for illegal activities. We reserve the right to ban any user, cancel any market, or void any trades if we suspect foul play. Play fair or get rekt.
6. Decentralization and Governance
Our goal is to become a fully decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). In the future, the community will govern the platform. Until then, we're in charge. See our roadmap for details.
7. Termination
We can terminate or suspend your access at any time, for any reason. If you violate these terms, you forfeit any and all funds on the platform.
